About Us:

Nestled in the picturesque town of Somerset West in the Western Cape, Boutique Villa Guesthouse is a family-owned and run guesthouse with fantastic staff, situated in the lush and mountainous Winelands area of the Western Cape. Only a 30-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport, the guesthouse is tucked away in one of the ‘old’ leafy suburbs of Somerset West and has a very tranquil atmosphere with a large garden and pool. The guesthouse has a range of luxury, deluxe, and standard rooms for international, local, and corporate travellers to enjoy. This old English-style guesthouse has two accommodation dwellings - the main house has eight rooms and the separate cottage has four rooms, all en-suite. The sparkling blue pool and garden are situated between the two dwellings. Recognising certain challenges facing South Africa and the need for a fully operational guesthouse, we have a borehole on the premises that supplies fresh water to both dwellings; water that comes straight from a gushing underground stream originating from the Helderberg mountain. Additionally, the guesthouse has a full inverter power system, ensuring backup electricity to the guesthouse in case of power outages.

Boutique Villa Guesthouse also offers a gateway to a world of enchanting experiences. Guests can indulge in a myriad of activities in the surrounding area, including golfing at prestigious golf courses, walking and swimming at the beautiful Strand and Gordon's Bay beaches (situated 10 -20 minutes drive from us). Guests are also able to explore the many stunning wine farms that dot the landscape in and around Somerset West, Stellenbosch, and beyond. For food lovers, the region boasts an array of outstanding restaurants at these wine farms or in town, where tasty dishes await you at very reasonable prices. Adventure enthusiasts can embark on mountain biking expeditions along thrilling trails or lace up their hiking boots to discover the natural wonders of the area. With numerous mountain biking and walking trails to explore, outdoor enthusiasts will find endless opportunities to immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery. There are also lovely health spas in the area if you are more into relaxing and being pampered.

RMB Starlight Classic at Vergelegen: AfroSymphonic event twice a year since 1998 under star-studded African skies, at the Vergelegen Wine Estate in Somerset West. Usually, the first weekend of March.
